Sleep Sounds is operated by RocketShip HQ OU ("we", "us", and "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use Sleep Sounds, a calming audio app for sleep sounds, white noise, rain, ocean, fan sounds, and quiet bedtime routines.

Sleep Sounds is a wellness app. It is not medical care, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not intended for emergencies.

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to run, improve, support, and secure the app.

  • Account information: email address, display name, authentication provider, and user ID if you sign in.
  • Subscription information: purchase status, entitlement status, product ID, renewal state, and app-store transaction identifiers. We do not receive your full payment card details.
  • App activity: sessions or sounds played, favorites, recents, onboarding answers, progress, streaks, settings, and in-app interactions.
  • Device and diagnostics: device model, operating system, app version, language, approximate region, crash logs, performance data, and diagnostic events.
  • Analytics and attribution: advertising identifiers where allowed, campaign parameters, install attribution, paywall events, subscription events, and similar measurement data.
  • Optional wellness data: if the app offers a Health Connect or similar wellness integration and you enable it, we may write mindful-minutes or session-duration records as requested by you. You can disable that access in your device settings.
  • Support communications: information you choose to send us when you contact support or submit feedback.

How we use information

  • Provide sleep sounds, ambient audio, white noise, favorites, recents, offline listening, and bedtime-routine features, playback, offline access, personalization, favorites, recents, and account sync.
  • Authenticate users, prevent abuse, secure the app, and troubleshoot problems.
  • Manage trials, subscriptions, entitlements, billing support, and purchase restoration.
  • Measure app performance, understand what content is useful, improve onboarding and paywalls, and evaluate advertising campaigns.
  • Send transactional messages, support replies, and optional marketing messages if you have opted in.
  • Comply with legal, tax, app-store, security, and platform requirements.

Service providers and sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers and platforms that help us operate the app, measure performance, process subscriptions, support users, or comply with law.

  • Google and Firebase: authentication, analytics, crash reporting, cloud data, messaging, storage, and remote configuration.
  • RevenueCat: subscription management, entitlement status, purchase validation, and subscription analytics.
  • Superwall: paywall display, paywall analytics, subscription conversion measurement, and entitlement-related events.
  • AppStack: install attribution, campaign measurement, and subscription-event attribution.
  • Meta: app events and advertising measurement where configured and permitted.
  • Apple and Google: app distribution, in-app purchase processing, subscription management, refunds, and platform compliance.
  • Hosting, email, and support tools: site hosting, email delivery, customer support, and operational monitoring.

Your choices

  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings.
  • You can disable notifications, analytics permissions, advertising identifier access, or wellness integrations through your device settings where available.
  • You can request deletion of your account or personal information by emailing us at shamanth@rocketshiphq.com.
  • You can stop optional marketing messages by using the unsubscribe link in those messages.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the app, comply with app-store, tax, accounting, security, and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you.

Children

Sleep Sounds is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International transfers

We and our providers may process information in the United States, the European Economic Area, and other countries where we or our providers operate. We use reasonable safeguards for those transfers where required.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it was last updated. Material changes will be posted in the app or on this page when appropriate.
